Bangkok 1983 International Stamp Exhibition vermeil medal and medal box awarded to Ian D. Crane. Front: 'I. D. Crane, Bangkok 1983' plaque and 'Thai coin shape' mounted on a wooden base. Known in Thailand as 'POT DUANG' (Twisted Worm) and commonly called Bullet Coins by foreigners, these coins were the standard coinage in Thailand.
