Intermess III Leipzig 1965 medal and medal box awarded to D.R. Burchell for his exhibit.
Mr. D. R. Burchell resided at Eastfield House, Portobello, Edinburgh. He was a member of the society from the 1930s to the 1970s and was a well known stamp dealer with a shop on Leith Walk, Edinburgh – D. R. Burchell & Co., Booksellers & Stamp Dealers. He took part in various world – wide stamp exhibitions as demonstrated by the accompanying medals won.
