'The surface of this trophy has a polish which is easily impaired and the greatest of care must be taken when it is cleaned. Only the finest polish should be used. (Goddard's Silver Polish is acceptable). Liquid polishes of the Brasso type are not suitable. The polish should be applied with a very fine cloth of the Selvyt variety.'
