Plate - Intaglio - 2d plate 12 subjects (3x4), defaced. Was originally engraved by Joseph Barnard, and used for the 'Post paid' issues between 1848 and 1858. At the end of this period the plate had become so worn that on some positions only parts of the Queen's head and frame are visible.
