In 1920 stamp production was in its infancy in Czechoslovakia. The definitive set, the Allegory issue, underwent trials of printing methods, perforation and colours. These factors combined to make it an issue worthy of study. The display contains many examples of experimental material as well as flaws caused by the haste in which they were prepared.
