Subject:
The Postal History of Morocco is a fascinating field, as there were postal services operated - at times simultaneously - by France, the United Kingdom, Spain and Germany (in order of inauguration). These foreign post offices or agencies in Morocco gradually joined the General Postal Union, later the UPU. In addition, there were two postal services in Morocco that never formed part of the UPU: the Chérifien Postal Service and the Local Posts. The display comprises postal history from all six postal services.
