A presentation of the early GB 1d and 2d issues from plates and positions that were subject to re-entering, thus existing in two or more identifiable states. The main emphasis will be on repaired plates from the 1853 to 1855 period – an area that is not generally covered in any depth in the literature and where, even today, new repairs continue to be discovered regularly.
