The museum at the Royal Philatelic Society London was
Accredited by Arts Council England on 1 August 2014.
We don’t just collect stamps … or envelopes …
There is growing interest in the history of philately and in the extensive
literature and philatelic ephemera, which has been created by exhibitors,
and their organisers since the earliest displays in the industrial exhibitions of
the mid-nineteenth century, which included displays of printing, including
postage stamps.
The Society seeks to preserve exhibition material from all levels of exhibiting,
international, national, regional, and local, from the first exhibitions to the
present day.
