The library had its first permanent
home when the Society moved into 41
Devonshire Place in 1925.
In November 2014 it was decided that
the library would become an archival
library for philatelic literature
therefore a copy of each item is
retained (including superseded
editions) and every effort is made to
fill any gaps in the collection. The
library grows at a prodigious rate
(approximately 24 linear metres per
annum) despite being reliant upon
donations.
The library had long outgrown No.41
and in 2017 the building was sold and
the hunt for suitable premises began…
