Chapter three focuses upon the Postal History of the ‘Whale & Penguin’ [W & P] era
W& P stamps were released at Grytviken on 2 September 1929 and withdrawn on 29 March 1938, but off sale
throughout 1933. During this nineteen-thirty’s period, postal rates were stable. When the KGV Silver Jubilee and
KGVI Coronation special issues were on sale, equivalent value W&P stamps were not available at the post office
