I cAme to Jesus as I was,
Weary and worn and sad,
I've found in Him a resting place,
And be has made me glad.
We wept to watch thee yield thy parting breath,
And sink exhausted in the arms of death ; ·
'Twas very hard. but uh. what joy it give•,
To look beyond the grave and say, "He lives."
