A pictorial maritime mail postmark was brought into use at Helsinki in 1963.
Initially the postmark was rectangular with the ship sailing to the right.
This type of postmark was in use until 1968.
1969 cover posted at sea on the S/S/Aallotar, landed at Helsinki where the pictorial
postmark was applied and a postcard showing the ship.
