From 16th May to 6th June 1930, the Zeppelin LZ127 airship made the first Sudamerikafarht. For this
special event SYNDICATO CONDOR overprinted Argentine air post stamps of 1928 with
commemorative text in two colours, $0.20 - $0.50 - $1.00 - $1.80 in blue and green, and $3.60 only in
blue. One plate of $1.80 in blue had the overprint inverted. Only two stamps were kept as a souvenir
by the printer Guillermo Kraft, before the Post Office destroyed the rest of the plate. These two
stamps were acquired by famous philatelist Victor Kneitschel from Kraft's widow.
