Philatelic Journals

There are over 3,700 distinct journal titles

in the library’s collection. These include
some of the earliest produced philatelic

periodicals dating from the 1860s.

We currently receive issues over 230 active

titles. These are donated to us by the

various publishers and societies. With

each title we try to ensure that any gaps are
filled and we bind the complete runs.

Naturally, this includes a bound set of our
own journal, The London Philatelist, which

has been regularly produced since 1892.
