Standing Displays

The displays, consisting of scanned copies of the originals, will be on view each day from 9.30 am until 4.45 pm in the main meeting room, except during Society Meetings.

Please note that there may be occasions when the room is booked for another meeting, so if you are planning a special visit to view a display please contact the office on 020 7486 1044 or by email.

Standing displays required: We are delighted to announce that standing displays will be returning later this season. The displays will be able to be viewed on all non-meeting days in the first-floor meeting room and will be available for Fellows, Members and visitors to view at 15 Abchurch Lane for around six weeks at a time.

As it stands, we have used all our available displays and we are seeking the support of Fellows and Members to offer new displays for 2023-2024.

This is an ideal opportunity to share your collections especially if you are a collector who has only a limited number of frames written up, or indeed if you are an overseas member who isn't able to get to London personally.

If you would like to show around 8 frames of material, please contact Gwynne Harries FRPSL, harriesg@rpsl.org.uk, who will be very pleased to hear from you. If you don't have that number of frames, don't worry. Any combination of 12 sheets will be fine as smaller submissions can be held over and multiple displays combined accordingly.

Please remember the pages are simply high-resolution scans (300 dpi preferred), from your collection and not the actual material, so for overseas members this is a great opportunity to show your material without having to worry about customs regulations!

When the display is taken down the files will be kept and made into a book for the library, thereby keeping a record of your collection in perpetuity.

Thank you in anticipation of your support. Gwynne's inbox is open and waiting!

Members need to login to view all the displays.
