The refurbishment of Abchurch Lane was largely financed by Tomorrow’s Royal which successfully raised its target of £2,500,000 but it also used up our investments of £1,000,000. The Society's Council is seeking to rebuild the Society’s investments by seeking donations to be placed in a restricted endowment fund that can only be used for capital purposes whilst the income will assist the running of the Society and help to ensure that membership remains affordable for future generations of philatelists.
The Society is grateful for all gifts. All donors are personally thanked and the Society offers additional recognition.
Donors who have formally notified the Society of an intended bequest are entitled to membership of the Sir Daniel Cooper Legacy Circle. Members receive an annual newsletter and meet every two years for lunch and conversation.
The Life Members Circle is limited to 150 members. Members receive the supporters newsletter and are invited to an annual evening reception featuring aspects of the Society’s collections.
Where appropriate donors may be further recognised through naming of awards or physical facilities.
