to his son at home in Stanley. AGB held the position for seven or more seasons, (records are incomplete)
between 1913 - 14 and the last, 1926 - 27
1918 Internal cover from the post WW1 period (1 October 1918 to 5 February 1920) when an additional 1d
per cover was levied on mail sent within the Empire as ‘War Tax’; hence rated at 2d, tied SS.1, 3 DEC 1918
The ‘Admiralty Cable Station’ or Radio Station located at Stanley opened in December 1912
