1930 Overseas Postcard (Airmail)
On 31 August 1930, a special glider-mail flight from the Bachtel (a mountain in the Zürich Oberland) carried mail
to the local villages of Bubikon and Wetzikon. Bundesfeier cards were the only mail accepted for this flight.
31 August 1930: card addressed to Brussels, Belgium, and carried on the glider-mail flight to Bubikon in
Canton Zürich. The 40c postage paid for the flight and onward transit by surface mail.
