              rate and posted at St. Gallen. Two of the adhesives are machine-cancelled with an oval slogan mark, but the third
              has been manually cancelled with the main ST.GALLEN office cds




        Jacob Hermann became sole owner of the Newton Embroidery Works in 1916 through purchase of the half interest of Moses & Wacker of New York.
               The company had relocated their silk embroidery business to the building on East Clinton Street in Newton NJ at the end of 1905.
