Extract from the Helvetia Newsletter No.2 January/February 1948, commenting on the above exhibition:
‘The British Government announced that travel allowances for holidaymakers in Switzerland will be
restored on 1 May 1948. The allowance will probably not exceed £35.00 per person, but that will
be sufficient to spend about 10 days in Switzerland on this amount, including fares’.
