Unlike the surcharge on the Sc stamp it appears that there is only one setting of this surcharge on the 4c stamp, and this is identical to
setting 2 on the Sc stamp as described in the Sarawak Journal Volume 63 pp 88-89. lt is probable that this is the original setting ofthe
overprint on both stamps.
Complete sheet of 50 stamps (10 x S)~ surcharge on Transfer B ofthe 4 cent stamp. Full sheets much scarcer than the lc on Sc.
The overprint is setting 2 which uniquely includes the constant varieties hollow stop (position 9)
and large stop (positions 22, 23, 32, 41 and 42) .
