                       Adhesives cancelled with Elgin “133” numerals and Elgin, AU 8, 1850 datestamp on the reverse.
                       Liverpool “AU 10” datestamp on the reverse and red “5 cents” exchange office markings.
                       Boston “Br Packet Boston, 21 AUG PAID” and “24” exchange office markings.
                       Adhesives paid the 1 shilling per ½ ounce treaty rate.
                       Traveled on the August 10, 1850 sailing of the Cunard Europa, arriving Boston August 21, 1850.
                       US retained 5¢ credit for inland postage.
                       Duffus is a small village 5 miles north of Elgin. It was not issued a numeral obliterator.
