A distinctive tri-lingual dated maritime postmark was used at Turku from 1900 to
1918. The Finnish/Swedish/Russian abbreviated inscription translates as 'from
abroad.' It is known in three types with (a) three small stars, (b) a dot and ( c) a large
star dividing the languages. This type of postmark was used only at Turku.
