ESRO S27/1 Ultraviolet astronomy mission.
July 5, 1969. Launch of a Skylark 3 rocket for the ESRO S38 mission working with an apogee of 200
km, during the first Ionosphere mission). A special non-postal stamp was sometimes added by Poste
Italiane on the covers cancelled on behalf of the Salto Di Quirra Test Missile Range.
