Qyadruple rate letter posted in Toronto where post office
collected U.S. inland and also freight money for the steamer
Li"lJerpool. By the time the letter reached New York the
Li"lJerpool had been sold, the New York Post Master
dispatched the letter by the first packet. The New York
Post Master refunded 50¢ to the Canadian account which
when balanced shows only 50¢, four times sailing freight
money charge of121h¢.
