At the end of 1992 the postoffice at Storby in Aland was closed and from January
1993 all maritime mail arriving in Aland from Grisslehamn in Sweden
was handled by the Eckero postoffice.

1993 cover posted on the ferry MIS Alandia sailing from Grisslehamn to Ecker<>
where the new boxed Navire maritime mail cachet was applied.
