Between 1922 and 1963 a two line cachet was used on ship mail arriving un-
postmarked at Turku. The cachet reads Laivakirje I Paquebot the Finnish and
French for ship mail. This postmark was superseded during the 1960s by
pictorial maritime marks.
1945 ship cover from Sweden landed at Turku with the two-line bi-lingual
Laivakirje I Paquebot postmark.
