After the Second World War Estonia was occupied by Russia and the finks to Finland
were curtailed. In 1965 the Russians re-opened a limited ferry service between
Tallinn and Helsinki. In 1991 following Estonian independence, a regular ferry
service between Tallin and Helsinki was resumed
1995 cover posted on the Estonian ferry the Georg Ots, the Finnish stamp has been
cancelled on arrival with the Helsinki Navire postmark.
