The Cargo Ships
Once the merger of the SAML vessels was complete, the SAL began commissioning new cargo ships to
enhance the fleet.
One of the first was the Torsholm, launched in 1950. It was wrecked on 12 November 1967 on the south
side of the Uto Light off Finland.

The Braheholm was built in 1951 for the SAL and sold in 1967.
