MS Kungsholm (1928)

In July 1934 a cachet "Posted on board
the Kungsholm while above the Arctic
Circle" on its cruise of the Northern
Lands was introduced. The cruise was
repeated each year until 1939

This postcard shows a cross-section of
the Kungsholm and states that the liner
makes the passage from New York to
Goteborg in 8 Yi days.

The postcard to right has not been
used.

The postcard below was posted on
board and cancelled with the SJP 7
date-stamp with the Arctic circle
cachet alongside on 9 July from the
1935 cruise.
