For the 1956 cruise the SAL produced a postcard for the route, a canceller similar to that for 1955 and a
second label (of which a full sheet is shown on the following page).

The cruise commenced from New York on 7 January 1956 following the route shown on the postcard
below. The Kungsholm arrived in Singapore on the morning of 24 February and departed on the morning
of 25 February, crossing the equator that day before its next stop at Padang Bay Bali on the morning of
27 February.
