MS Kungsholm (1953)
Following the maiden and first return voyage, the regular "posted on board" date-stamp was in use.
6 April 1954 from New York to Goteborg - Letter addressed to Frederic Patka a collector in Austria.
It appears to have been mislaid temporarily on board and received a
second date-stamp on I 4 May, when the Kungsholm started its next
crossing from New York. This explanation is supported by the oval date-
stamp on the reverse: "Malmo I - Tompliscentralen" (which is the postal
department where empty sorting bags were handled) dated 25May1954.
17 November 1954 from Goteborg to New York
Month and day slugs are reversed
