MS Kungsholm (1953)
The first world cruise took place from 8 January to 15 April 1955.
The SAL produced a stamp size label showing the
Kungsholm and the route taken. The opportunity was
used to advertise future cruises to travel agents as
shown on this printed postcard "signed" by Hilmer
Lundbeck and posted from Hong Kong on 7 March.
" .... Remember this ideal cruise vessel will repeat the
voyage in 1956 ... "
