        As with the previous year the two cards were also issued without an imprinted stamp. Military personnel on active
        duty were entitled to free-postage, and during the first world war sent their cards through the Field Post service.
                  4 August 1916: a National Festival card, issued to military personnel, used by a serving soldier writing
