V arieties: Error during make up of the printing foim.
Two major errors and one minor variety occurred..on the first printing of the 8 cents
value of the ''POSTAGE & REVENUE" issue.

'!' after the füll stop: on stamp No. 34 (see top lef'.t band stamp offirst block below). lt is
probably caused by a protruding printers "bit'.
Widc spacing. Narrow spacing
On all printings the horizontal distance between adjacent•6's alternates between 16 and 18 mm.
Large "$" of cents: This minor varicty occurs on stamp 19 (lst. and 2nd. printings) or 27 (3rd
printing) of all values.
