SPACEHAB
June 21, 1993. Spacehab is delivered into space for the first time with mission STS-57, and has its maiden
flight in the RSM (Research Single Module) configuration. Built in Italy by Alenia Space for the American
Company Astrotech (formerly Spacehab Inc.) Spacehab proved to be a very flexible logistic module.
September 16, 1996. Spacehab goes in space with Shuttle Mission STS-79 in its LSM configuration
(Logistic Single Module), during, one of the seven Shuttle/MIR Missions.
