February 13, 2012. The first Vega lifted off and conducted a flawless qualification flight from Kourou,
where the Ariane launch facilities have been adapted for its use. Commemorative launch cover
serviced by AS.IT.AF. for the VV01 maiden launch, cancelled with standard postmark at the civilian
Kourou post office.
May 6, 2013. Launch of the second VEGA that successfully started commercial Service.
Four successful Vega launches of have been performed so far, with no failure.
