Finnish Fieldpost 1939-1945 Winter War 1939-1940

Due to the large amount offieldpost posted in December 1939, a substantial amount of the mail
despatched from the naval base at Turku was passed into the civilian postal system without a
fieldpost postmark. The only endorsement applied was the boxed .MERIVOIMA T 10 (Naval l 0)
official handstamp of the base.
