             This was recut from the gth recut hand stamp then issued on the 17th January 1862. It is recorded used between the
                        18th February 1862 and 24 h June 1862. The recut hand stamps are now becoming common.

             Here you can see an example of this hand stamp seen on a 4d surface printed stamp paying the postage to France.
            It is dated the 24th June 1862 which is the latest recorded date for this hand stamp and it is showing the code letter H.

              This was recut from the above hand stamp then issued on the 27th August 1862. It is recorded used between the
               11th September 1862 and 11th February 1863. The recut hand stamps now have a scarcity rating of A common.
