        MydearSis,
The SS Ju/ieta has come in unexpected/y today and will /eave tomorrow for Labuan. I have sent a letter by
the Fei Lung today via Saigon but you'// probab/y get this first. We get no mai/ as she has been to Java and
Su/u. I dare say I sha// hear more about her tomorrow morning. I thought J was going to have a quiet week
but to begin with a steamer and then probab/y at the end of the week another one, is rather different to what
it was when I came. The steamer which has come in today has come for the first time, to have a /ook round. I
am glad of it because competition is a good thing. I hear that she has got a six months charter. She /eaves for
Labuan today Monday May 22"" at 5 pm so J must stop.
        Yours affec.
        Barclay Pollock
