SS Drottningholm


           Until the second world war, the Drottningholm operated on the transatlantic service. The SAL provided
                            envelopes as well as postcards for the convenience of its passengers.
                                       Either Swedish or US stamps could be used.

               This letter was posted on board on 22 February 1932 with the SJP 7 date-stamp on a US stamp.

           The letter also bears the ship's cachet and the                     b TA PL ETON 1--~---
                "Paquebot" mark used on the ship.
