During the Winter Cruise Conrad Nilsson received a letter from London posted on 7 March addressed to
the SAL Pier 97 New York, the arrival point for the Gripsholm. It was sent "By German Packet" and had
30 April 1935 stamped on it by SAL to indicate that it had been received.
