29 January the cruise finished on 24 March, a duration of 54 days.

There were no special posting facilities on board. This envelope was posted at Nassau on 1 February.

Crossing the equator was a special occasion celebrated by a cachet. This envelope has Swedish stamps
with the paquebot mark of the Gripsholm and with the stamps cancelled at Callao (Peru) with the date of
10 February 1938 (but with the day reversed as 01).
