Gripsholm (1925)
Once acquired by the NDL, the Gripsholm was renamed as the Berlin, an event that was celebrated by the
German post office in Berlin by the release of two stamps on 12 March 1955. The liner continued in
service for NDL as the Berlin until November 1966 when she was scrapped at La Spezia in Italy
