This Devonshire received just the one TYPE Il hand stamp which was issued on 01-04-57.
There were no recuts and is seen used between Apr 57 and May 60.
Above can be seen two strikes from this town, the first on a wrapper to Asburton dated 07-01-60 using the
code 'D'. The second can be seen used as a back stamp on an envelope from Ivybridge (Devon) dated 01-05-60
which is also a latest date for this hand stamp, it is seen using the code E • This is the only strike I have seen

used in this way, most unusual. The code Bis the only other code which has been recorded used with this stamp.
