ADDITIONAL FRANKING FOR SPECIAL DISPATCH SERVICES: EXPRESS DELIVERY

German reply card delivered with express delivery from Italy. The delivery fee was covered by 2 Italian 25 Lira
express post stamps. The express rate was 25 Lira domestic and the double of 50 Lira for international
destinations.

Swiss reply card at 20 Rappen, additionally franked with 1 Zloty Generalgouvernement (German occupation of
Poland) and returned by express delivery. The express service is overpaid, since 80 Groschen would have been
sufficient. The letter was delivered to an interned Polish military officer and received a respective routing label.
