                    The 5th Earl of Rosebery, the former British Liberal Prime Minister, writes from his English home at Durdans,
                      near Epsom, to the Lady Colebrooke who had been living during 1906 at the Palace of Holyrood House.
                     Lord Rosebery wrote just after the Colebrookes had left to return to Abington, so the cover was re-addressed
                      for onward transmission and delivery, the reverse showing both Edinburgh and Abington arrival marks.
