This was the second of the two types issue to this office. It is the only sideways duplex issued to a camp. It was
issued on 25th May 1857. It was recut in May 1858 but this is rare. It has a scarcity rating of 'F' rare.

Above you can see two examples of this hand stamp, the first is on a small envelope which is dated 9th September
1857 and shows the code letter 'A'. The second is on a 4d surface printed postage stamp posted to France and is
much rarer than an example on a Id red. It is dated 16th January 1858 and shows a different code letter which is 'B'.
