           COMMERCIAL CORRESPONDENCE
           Commercial usage of reply cards was common and often focused on ordering goods, product samples or
           merchandise catalogues.





































           Reply card from German Southwest Africa with commercial correspondence addressed back to a wholesaler of
                                                     ostrich feathers.
                  The card was mailed on 21.07.1914 but could not be delivered due to the outbreak of the WW I.
            The card bears only the domestic postage of 5 Pfennig, which was sufficient between the German homeland
                                              and its colonies since 01.05.1899
