                                      39 London Rd., Leicester.
                                                                             16th Marah, 1922.
                                    Dear Sir or Madam,
Will you please attend a very important Meeting of
Mr. Marlow's supporters to be held at St. Stephen's Church School-
room, St. Saviour's Rd. East, on Monday next, March 20th, at 7-30
                                    o'clock.
In appealing to you to take some part in the organised
work of the Campaign, may we be permitted to point out
                                    that :-
                                              We Want VISITORS

                                              both Men and Women.

It may be asked why visitors are necessary. The anFlwer
is easy. The Candidate cannot personally get into touch with
more than a small proportion of the Electors. This would not
matter if the minds of all were made up. But this is not so.
A large number of people take little interest, reCLd no
newspaper articles, posters, or pamphlets, and attend no·
meetings. A pers'.lnal visit from someone representing the
Candidate is absolutely necessary to rouse the interest of such
people and to e3tc1,blish per.son1l contact. It is only by such
means that Mr. Marlow's views and personality can be made
                                    known.
Trusting that you will be able to assist us at this very
                                    important Election.
                                          We are,
                                              Yours faithfully,
